GOD IS SO GOOD

Psalm 107:8, 15, 21, & 31 “Oh, that men would praise the Lord for His goodness and for His wonderful works to the children of men.”
Why did the writer stress this four times in this psalm? I believe he was trying to tell us something important and wanted to make sure we were listening.
Some ways we can praise the Lord for His goodness to us are with:
- Gratitude for His love for us
- A thirst to know Him more
- A desire to please Him more
- A hunger to study His word
- A greater love for others
What would happen if we practiced all of the above? There would be greater joy and peace in our lives. We would become strengthened in our faith. Our burdens would seem so much lighter. And our lives would reflect the richness of God’s treasures.
What a difference that might make in someone else’s life!
What a wonderful way to please the Lord!
Think about it…
“Oh, that men would praise the Lord for His goodness and for His wonderful works to the children of men.”
